Heavenly Father
My heart is not always a flame of adoring love,
But, resting in yours Son’s redemption,
I look forward to the days of heaven.
Where fatigue will not slow me down,
No sin will cool my spirit,
No passion for Christ is forgotten.
Father, let my thought stay, strengthen, and comfort me.
