Join and Enjoy Christ’s Ministry

Reflect on Jesus’ forsaking of comfort in order to fulfill God’s commission to call all to ‘Repent’. Praise Him specifically for what He has forsaken that you might have life (Matt 4:13-14, 17; Philippians 2:5-11)

Matthew 4:19 - What do you think about Jesus’ summons (Follow me!) and claim of creative power (I will make you into….)? How do you typically respond to Jesus? How fast and with what abandon does He desire to you respond with (Matthew 4:20). Ask Jesus for help to follow Him in a manner pleasing to Him.

Do you serve alongside Jesus Christ? What ministry is particularly interesting to you: teaching, proclamation of the Gospel or healing (Matt 4:23). How might you learn more about this ministry area so that you might joyfully serve Christ with greater excellence?
