Preaching the Word

1. How do you find yourself responding to the preaching and teaching of God’s Word? In what ways have you been moved and convicted, changed and transformed by the reading or hearing of God’s Word in your life? If you have not experienced these things, why not?


2. Do you welcome “reprove, rebuke, and exhortation”? Why or why not? Would you consider praying and asking God for a humble and teachable heart as you read and listen to God’s Word?


3. How have you been encouraged or challenged by Paul’s letter to his dear friend Timothy? What are the one or two things that standout to you in this series, and how have you been convicted or changed as a result of these things?
