Do Not Be Ashamed

1. When was the last time you felt ashamed of being a Christian, a follower of Jesus? What were you ashamed or embarrassed about? Why?

2. What would be more reasonable, for you to be ashamed of Christ? Or for Christ to be ashamed of you? Why? In light of this question, what does God’s grace mean for the believer who wrestles with shame and condemnation before God?

3. What is your view of suffering, especially in the life of a believer, a follower of Jesus? Have you ever suffered for the sake of the gospel? How? Why or why not?
