Jacob: Transformed from Fear to Faith

1. What are the promises of God that you are aware of as you’ve been entrusted to disciple your children and lead your families? Do your decisions and actions reflect your faith and trust in God?

2. Have you been satisfied with living vicariously through others? How have you encountered God in your own life? And how is He seeking you out now? What is He doing that invites, and even demands a response from you today?

3. Do we see and understand more clearly this wonderful plan of redemption that all scripture is revealing to us? Are our hearts filled with love and affection, worship and gratitude towards Jesus? Has our fear of the consequences of our sin been transformed into thanksgiving for the grace and love of God?
