To all parents,

The school's teaching and learning arrangements during the suspension period are as follows:
Due to the heightening threat of the Coronavirus, also Alberta Education has not announced when classes will resume, we decided all classes will continue until further notice by Alberta Education. The graduation ceremony will be rescheduled after the resumption of class.

The school's teaching and learning arrangements during the suspension period are as follows:

Student Learning
School is closed but learning will go on. The teacher will follow up the student's learning situation through different methods, such as: e-mail, video conference, WeChat or telephone, until May 30 (the last school day).
In the meantime, teachers will continue to distribute different types of assignments to the students. During the suspension period, the assignments of Grade 1 to Grade 9 classes will not be count in report card. (For the arrangement of Grade 10 to Grade 12 classes, please refer to "Credit Class Notice on Teaching and Learning Arrangements "). Students are expected to complete assignments to further their learning and understanding of course content.

Student Assessment
School will cancel the final exam during the suspension period, but students will receive report card. For the details of report card will be explained in the May Parent Newsletter.

Student promotion
The qualification for student promotion will according to student's academic performance and other examination result before the school suspension. All students who were on track to progress to the next grade will do so. For students who were not on track to progress, teacher will take the student's annual learning performance as a reference. For the detail of student promotion will be explained in the May Parent Newsletter.
 
We are in contact with Alberta Education, then we will send out an updated notice to our parents based on both Alberta Education's recommendation and the actual situation. Please pay attention to the emails sent by the school.
