Dear Parents and Students of Calgary Chinese Alliance School,

Thank you for your patience and support in making the online and the in-person classes a success.  We will closely monitor the announcement from the provincial government and hope that everyone will be able to resume to in-person classes very soon.
 
Parents are requested to pay attention to the following school information:

The Penmanship Competition
The Penmanship Competition was successfully held on November 27th. Results will be announced in due course.

Mandarin Exam
Grade 2 to Grade 9 students will have Mandarin exams on December 4th and 11th. Parents are advised to remind their children to prepare accordingly.

Christmas Celebration
Due to the pandemic, the Christmas celebration this year will be held online during class.
Teachers in each class will celebrate Christmas with students during class time on December 18th.

Holiday
December 25th and January 1st are Christmas and New Year holidays respectively.
Classes will resume January 8th, 2022. We wish everyone a happy long holiday!

First Term Exam
First term exam will be held on January 8th, 2022. The scope of the exam will be distributed on December 18th, 2021. Parents are advised to encourage your children to study during the long holidays. Students in all classes will be required to write the exam at school this year, details will be announced via email in mid-December.
 
Solo Recitation Preliminary Contest
The solo recitation preliminary contest will be held on January 15th, 2022. Please encourage your children to practice more to participate in the selection.
