Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers, and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed.

1Corinthians 12:1

Thought

This verse reminds me that we all have gifts from God. Some people have the gift for caring and some people have the gift for preaching. In our church or community, we are all unique and have our functions and strengths. Each of our gifts are important to the body of Christ. Am I using my gift to edify others? Am I using my gifts to build up other people?

Although we have different gifts and strengths, we only have one Holy Spirit. We function as a part of Christ Body. May we continue to be humble before Him which allows him to use us.

Prayer

Lord, may you humble us before you. Help us to learn how to use our gifts to bless others. Although we have different gifts and strengths, we are under one Body of Christ. May we use our gifts to bring glory to your name.

弟兄們，論到屬靈的恩賜，我不願意你們不明白。

哥林多前書 12:1

思想

這節經文提醒我，神賜恩賜給我們所有人。有些人有關顧的恩賜，另一些有傳道的恩賜。不論在我們教會或社區，我們所有人都是獨特的，有不同的功能和強項。我們每一個恩賜對基督的身體而言都是重要的。我是否用我的恩賜去造就別人呢？我是否用我的恩賜去建立他人呢？

我們雖然有不同的恩賜和強項，但都只有一位聖靈。我們俱為基督身體的一部分，各按其職來發揮功用。願我們繼續謙卑在祂面前，讓祂使用我們。
