As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:18

Thought

We noticed a lot of updates about the pandemic on the news everyday.  When we see the number of infected people rises, we feel the panic.  But Paul reminds us in here that we should not just focus on what we can see, because what we see is only transient.  All heavenly and spiritual things are invisible to us, but they have the real eternal value.  What do we truly care?

Prayer

Dear Lord, we keep caring what is happening around us, these things really affect our emotions.  We pray that you can forgive us for not putting you first. Teach us to pay more attention to heavenly things, to love our surrounding neighbours more, and to preach the gospel to friends around us who still have not known God.  Amen!
