John 14:27

The peace that God gives us is through Jesus Christ is permanent. It does not depend on how good we are or how hard we try. It is given by His grace, as we confess Christ as Lord, repent and turn away from our sin. That's why His peace is different then how the "world gives." The world will give you things when you are good or work hard, and take things away when you're bad. God is not like that! This is truly a "peace that passes all understanding" (Philippians 4:7). So how are you clinging to this promise of peace in your life, especially during a time like this?

Thank you, God, for Your gift of peace through Jesus Christ! Thank You that it is by grace, so that none of us can boast! You are so gracious and kind. Please help me to experience this peace every day of my life, especially when I am tempted to fear or be anxious. Help me to share this peace with others, so that they might come to know You and trust You in their lives too. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

神透過耶穌基督賜給我們的平安是永久的，且不在乎我們有多好或我們有多努力。當我們承認基督為主，悔改並離開我們的罪，主恩和平安就臨到我們。這就是為甚麼主所賜的平安，不像「世人所賜的」。當你做好人或努力工作時，世界就給你一些東西，你不好時，就收回。神不是這樣！這真正是「出 人 意 外 的 平 安」(腓 立 比 書 4:7)。你是如何在生命中緊靠這個平安應許呢，特別在這段時間？

感謝神你透過耶穌基督賜予我們平安！感謝你，因這全屬你的恩典，免得我們有人自誇！你的恩典和慈愛浩大。請幫我在每日生活中經歷你所賜的平安，特別是在我要膽怯或憂慮的時候。請幫我把這份平安與他人分享，好叫他們也可認識你，在生命中信靠你。奉耶穌之名祈禱，阿門。
