Philippians 2:3

We're living in a season where it is so easy to be focused on ourselves: our problems, our needs, our wants. There is a growing sense of self-entitlement among people. "You owe me. I deserve it. What's in it for me?" The bible teaches us that we are to be the opposite. When we are Christ-centred in our attitude and perspective, we can learn to die to ourselves and live for Jesus (Galatians 2:20). Jesus, Himself, set this example for us when He left His Father's side and came to save us (Philippians 2:5-8). Let us demonstrate the love of God, and the grace of Jesus to the world. Let us lovingly consider the needs and lives of others, in the hopes that many will come to know Jesus and follow Him as His disciples!

Dear Jesus, thank you for the example that you set for us when you came to save us. Help us to have the courage and faith to live like you, especially during this difficult time we are living in. May we demonstrate to the world that there is a God we can trust who loves us and gave us His Son in order to save us and rescue us from our sin. Teach us to be humble servants, just like Jesus. In Your Name we pray, amen.

腓 立 比 書 2:3

我們活在這段時期，很容易會專注自己:專注自己的困難，需要和欲求。人們愈來愈覺得自己擁有權利，會說:「你欠我。這是我應得的。這對我有甚麼好處？」聖經教導我們的正好相反。當我們的態度和觀點都以基督為中心的時候，我們就能學會向自己死，為耶穌而活(加拉太書2:20)。耶穌自己為我們樹立了好榜樣，離開父神到世間來拯救我們(腓 立 比 書 2:5-8)。讓我們向世人展現神的愛和耶穌的恩慈。讓我們切身體諒別人的生活和需要，以期多人能認識耶穌，成為祂的門徒跟隨祂！

親愛的耶穌，感謝你為我們樹立了好榜樣，到世間來拯救我們。請賜我們勇氣和信心，活像你自己，特別在這段艱難時期。願我們向世人展示，神是存在的，我們可以信靠祂，祂愛我們，賜下獨生子為要拯救我們，救我們脱離罪惡。請教導我們像耶穌一樣，成為謙卑僕人。奉主名求，阿門。
