Isaiah 56:6-8

I have believed in Jesus for many years. Over the years I often heard people query whether a certain person was saved or not. Of course, people can't judge others as to whether they are saved. But it is most obvious that God's grace is for everyone. When I read Isaiah chapter 56, I found that God's salvation was not for Israelites only. Here foreigners and eunuchs were mentioned in particular; they represented the discriminated minorities in society. At the beginning of chapter 56, God asked them not to belittle themselves, but join themselves to the Lord, to minister to him, to love him, and to hold fast to his words. Verses 6-8 even mentioned that the Lord would gather yet others to him besides those already gathered. Every year, our church will hold annual mission conference in November, with the only purpose of reminding us the Lord's calling to every Christian since the creation of the world. When I am preparing for this year's annual conference, I always hope to rekindle the hearts of brothers and sisters to care about the people they know, and to say "Jesus loves you" to the homeless people who sit outside the door of supermarkets, etc.

Thank Father God for giving us the grace of everlasting life. May the Lord help us to love people around us with Jesus' love, and give us courage to love those whom we are afraid to contact, as they are also loved by you. Amen.

以賽亞書 56:6-8

信了耶穌這麼多年，很多時都聽到人去疑問究竟那個人能不能得救等問題。當然人不能去論斷其他人得救與否，但最明顯的是上帝的恩典是對所有人，當我讀到以賽亞書56章時發現上帝的救恩並非只給以色列人，這裡特別提到外邦人及太監，亦代表著社會上被歧視的一小眾，在56章一開始上帝叫他們不要看小自己，唯要與主聯合、事奉祂、愛祂、持守祂的道。6-8節更加講到上帝要將更多的人歸入祂的羊群。教會每年都會在11月舉行宣教年會，目的只有一個就是讓大家去重拾上帝在創世以來對每個基督徒的召命。當在預備今年的宣教年會時，總是盼望再次挑起弟兄姊妹的心去關懷身邊認識的人、去跟坐在超市門口的無家者說聲「耶穌愛你」等。

感謝父神賜予身我們永生的恩典，救主幫助我們以主耶穌的心去愛我們身邊的人，給我們勇氣去愛一些我們懼怕接觸的人，因為他們都是你所愛的。阿門
