Romans 8:26

I must admit that there have been days that I'm not sure how to pray, or what to pray for. There are times where the words come out, but my heart seems to lag behind. Or other times where my heart is full of emotions and thoughts, but I just can't find the write words to express myself. It is during those times that this verse gives me great comfort and hope. The same Holy Spirit that "searches all things, even the deep things of God" (1 Cor. 2:10) also resides in us, and intercedes on our behalf. He is a great interpreter, helping to express even our groanings to God. I am so thankful for this wonderful gift!

God, thank you for the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank you that He lives in us, and helps to express our deepest thoughts and cries to You. He is our Comfort and our Guide, our ever present Help in times of trouble. Would you give us courage to persevere in prayer, even in those difficult moments where words cannot express how we feel. We trust that You know our hearts, and are helping us in Your best way. Thank You, Jesus, for your death on the cross, and for sending this Helper to live with us. In Your Name we pray. Amen.

羅馬書 8:26

我必須承認，許多時我不肯定當怎樣禱告，或為何事禱告。這等時候，禱告的話是說出來了，但心思似乎就是跟不上。又或者，我內心是充滿激情，思緒紛沓，但就總找不著合適的詞彙來表達。此時，這節經文給予我莫大安慰和盼望。這位「参透萬事，就是神深奥的事也参透」(林前2:10)的聖靈，也就是住在我們裏面的聖靈，替我們禱告。祂是很好的傳譯者，連我們的歎息，祂也能幫助我們向神表達。為到這份奇妙的禮物，我真是感恩不已！

神啊，感謝你賜予聖靈這份奇妙的禮物。感恩的是，衪住在我們裏面，幫助我們表達最深層的思想，並向你呼求。祂是我們的「安慰」，也是我們的「嚮導」，是我們患難中的隨時「幫助」。請賜我們勇氣，無論如何都堅持祈禱，即使在難以言喻的艱困時刻。我們相信你知道我們的心，並以最好的方式幫助我們。耶穌，感謝你為我們死在十字架上，且差派這位聖靈「幫助者」一生陪伴我們。奉主名求。阿門。
